The court of arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) “fully accepted the merits of Edison’s position” in the case brought in 2010 against fellow Italian firm Eni, Edison said.
Eni operates around 80% of Libya’s ‘normal’ 30 bcm/y gas output (and 90% of non-associated output) via its Mellitah Oil and Gas joint venture with Libya’s state NOC. But current Libyan (and Mellitah) gas production is running at around two thirds of these levels. (CONTINUED - 512 WORDS)
