Iraq’s Kurdish President, Jalal Talabani, is in Germany seeking treatment, after suffering a stroke on 17 December.
Mr Talabani, known as ‘Mam Jalal’ (Uncle Jalal), has been an increasingly vital mediator between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
