Hungarian state firm MOL has slammed Syria for “producing illegally” from the Hayan field of its Croatian subsidiary INA despite force majeure being in operation.
INA declared force majeure on 27 February and exited Syria, but despite this its local partner continues producing “which we consider illegal,” says Jozsef Tatai, head of international new ventures at MOL, speaking at Global Pacific’s Maghreb Mediterranean conference in Geneva on 10 September.
