Phase 1 of a new solar park power project at Seih al-Dahal, 50 kms south of Dubai, on the al-’Ain-Dubai road has this week been inaugurated by the UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktum.
Speaking at the project launch on 22 October, Shaikh Muhammad celebrated the emirates achievement, once again highlighting the UAE’s commitment to renewable energy going forward. “The renewable energy sector is one of the core components of sustainable development,” he said, adding that “sustainable development will be achieved through mobilizing the UAE’s resources, efforts and capabilities.” (CONTINUED - 598 WORDS)
