Emirates LNG now plans to build a 1.2bn cfd onshore LNG import terminal in Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman with earlier plans to install a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Fujairah now scrapped.
The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract is currently under evaluation, Emirates LNG has said, though no timeframe has yet to be given for the award. The FEED contract was recently completed by France’s Technip. (CONTINUED - 476 WORDS)
