Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced on 28 January that it will launch four state-of-the-art technology and innovation centers in 2013. Two will be in Saudi Arabia and one each in India and China, bringing its total number of research facilities to 18 worldwide. The company said the four new centers represent a strategic investment of around $500mn.
SABIC Vice-Chairman and CEO Muhammad al-Mady said: “These four new facilities will further empower our global technology and innovation centers to build on their innovative systems to develop new technologies, improve manufacturing processes, and contribute to a sustainable environment for our communities.” (CONTINUED - 631 WORDS)
