The value of Algeria’s hydrocarbon exports in the first four months of 2013 fell 8.8% to $24.10bn from $26.44bn in the corresponding period of 2012, according to official customs statistics.
The value of total exports also fell 6.9% to $25.04bn, while imports rose by 18.9% to $17.88bn. Algeria’s trade surplus fell by almost 40% to $7.16bn, from $11.85bn in the corresponding period of 2012. (CONTINUED - 373 WORDS)
