On 25 July Kuwaitis will go to the polls to elect their seventh parliament in less than a decade following a constitutional court ruling this week dissolving the current assembly.
The move temporarily ends parliamentary investigations into state-owned oil firm KPC’s Shell gas fields consultancy contract and the cancellation of a joint venture with Dow Chemical.
