Speaking at his first press conference since being inaugurated as president on 3 August, Hassan Rohani expressed his administration’s readiness to engage in what he termed ”serious and substantive” talks with the international community in an effort to overcome the long-standing deadlock over Iran’s highly contentious nuclear program.
