Kuwait Energy Company (KEC), a Kuwait City-based independent which is set to be listed on the London Stock Exchange, saw its fourth quarter production edge down 3%, compared with the previous quarter – to 24,000 b/d. But this is the first fall in almost two years, during which period the company has grown its output by 60% or some 9,000 b/d (see graph).
The company saw output in Egypt, which accounts for two-thirds of the total, fall 5% to 16,000 b/d for the fourth quarter. (CONTINUED - 621 WORDS)
