Theoretically speaking, Iran is not open for business. This is a line US officials have found themselves having to repeat on an almost daily basis, particularly since an interim deal was struck between Iran and world powers on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program last November.
Despite still being under sanctions, Tehran has been a hub of activity over the past few months, with Iranian officials playing host to countless foreign executives, all looking to beat the competition to the undoubted opportunities a post-sanctions Iran could have on offer.
