RWE Dea has more than doubled gas production at its Disouq project in Egypt, just as the German government approved its sale to Russian group LetterOne.
Dea, the oil and gas subsidiary of German utility RWE, announced on 26 August that the start-up of the Central Treatment Plant (CTP) at Disouq has added a further 90mn cfd to output, bringing total production at the project to 150mn cfd. Output will rise further to 200mn cfd during 2015, according to Dea. (CONTINUED - 666 WORDS)
