The results of Egypt’s latest oil and gas bid round continue to trickle out, with three more blocks being awarded to international oil companies this week.
RWE Dea on 17 September announced it was awarded two oil-prone blocks in the Gulf of Suez, and two days later Irish independent Petroceltic revealed it had been awarded an offshore Nile Delta block in partnership with Italy’s Edison.
