Motiva Enterprises, the Saudi Aramco/Shell 50:50 US refining, distribution and marketing JV, plans to integrate its two Louisiana refineries to take advantage of relatively cheap locally produced light shale oil.
The company says that by connecting the 235,000 b/d Norco and 230,000 b/d Convent refineries by pipeline, it can optimize the use of the two plants’ intermediate and conversion units to increase distillate yields and reduce operating costs. (CONTINUED - 293 WORDS)
