Kuwait has summoned Iran’s chargé d’affaires in the emirate to protest rumors that the Islamic Republic is set to offer what Kuwait sees as its Dorra offshore gas field in any post-sanctions bid round.
There have been rumors for months that Iran would offer the field, which it calls Arash. These came to a head with a 24 August report in Kuwaiti daily Al-Jarida that Iran has published materials in advance of post-sanctions bidding. (CONTINUED - 815 WORDS)
