German upstream firm DEA on 1 February appointed Thomas Radwitz as the new head of its Egypt operations, replacing the outgoing Hans-Hermann Ecke who had served the firm for some 30 years and will now retire.
Mr Ecke had only filled the position temporarily since March last year. Mr Radwitz was previously managing director of DEA’s Suez Oil Company (SUCO) JV with Egypt’s state oil firm EGPC from 2006 to 2008. Between 2008 and 2014 he headed DEA’s Libya operations before a brief stint in Turkmenistan and the UK. (CONTINUED - 229 WORDS)
