The Takreer refining subsidiary of Abu Dhabi state petroleum firm Adnoc has awarded two contracts for its recently announced Gasoline and Aromatics Project, which is part of a plan to squeeze more income out of crude oil processed at its Ruwais refining and petrochemicals hub.
Takreer has awarded a front end engineering design (FEED) contract to the Amec International unit of UK’s Amec Foster Wheeler and a process technology licensing contract to France’s Axens. The new plant will produce 4.2mn tons/year (100,000 b/d) of gasoline and 1.6mn t/y of aromatics. (CONTINUED - 613 WORDS)
