Oman’s state utility OPWP says that 11 firms have submitted qualification documents for development of a 750-850MW capacity power plant to be built at Misfah, 50km southwest of the capital Muscat, for start-up in 2021.
The companies, which include international private power project developers as well as Iranian energy conglomerate Mapna and US turbine-generators manufacturing giant General Electric, “will be informed of the status of their qualification after the necessary approvals are obtained.” (CONTINUED - 762 WORDS)
