Oil Minister Isam al-Marzuq announced last week that Kuwait’s production of non-associated gas will hit 510mn cfd by the end of the year, up from 179mn cfd according to the latest figures from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).
Kuwait’s long running efforts to boost non-associated production have largely floundered over the past decade. Total Kuwaiti gas output was 1.74bn cfd in the operational year to April 2016 according to the latest figures from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), of which 90%, or 1.56mn cfd, was associated gas.
