The Daehan Wind Power Company, a joint venture of Korea’s Kospo and Daelim, awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract this week to Denmark’s Vestas for a 49.5MW wind farm to be built 180km southwest of Amman in Tafila governorate.
Vestas says that the Daehan wind farm EPC involves the supply, transport, installation and commissioning of 15 wind turbines in addition to a 20-year service agreement. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled for the 3Q 2019, with start-up anticipated in the 1Q 2020. (CONTINUED - 269 WORDS)
