The Pearl Petroleum consortium (Dana Gas 35%, Crescent Petroleum 35%, OMV 10%, MOL 10%, RWE 10%) says debottlenecking will raise output at its Khor Mor gas field by 80mn cfd to 385mn cfd by October. Longer term Pearl targets 900mn cfd by 2021 following last year’s resolution of a long-running legal dispute with the Iraqi Kurdish authorities which had stymied development.
Khor Mor entered production in 2008. Output hit 325mn cfd in 2012 before the onset of arbitration over payments in 2013 halted development until last year’s resolution (MEES, 25 October 2013). Condensate output has stayed around 13,000 b/d and LPG at 10,000 b/d. (CONTINUED - 771 WORDS)
