Total, Shell and BP are all making gas in general and LNG in particular an increasing part of their portfolio as talk of an ‘energy transition’ gathers pace.
BP CEO Bob Dudley reckons that “even in a ‘net-zero’ carbon future, gas has a role.” But, in Europe especially, the three majors are a long way from getting gas and LNG to be seen as being on the right side of the climate change argument. (CONTINUED - 1418 WORDS)
