In a remarkable broadside, Igor Sechin, the CEO of Rosneft and one of President Vladimir Putin’s closest allies, hit out at Saudi Arabia’s reliability as an oil supplier. No fan of the Opec+ agreement which limits Rosneft’s ability to produce, Mr Sechin has frequently criticized Russia’s involvement in the process.
But speaking in Italy this week, the bellicose CEO took things to another level in saying the kingdom should be listed alongside Iran, Venezuela, Libya, Iraq and Nigeria as a “fragile” supplier of oil. (CONTINUED - 304 WORDS)
