The winners from Adnoc’s debut licensing round are getting busy, with major drilling planned for this year and next. Meanwhile, attention is turning towards Abu Dhabi’s second licensing round, where Adnoc plans to award contracts in 1Q 2020.
Eni and Thailand’s PTTEP were the early movers in the first bid round, signing up to both of the offshore blocks offered up in January (MEES, 18 January).
