Saudi state oil giant Aramco and French JV partner Total plan to squeeze their Satorp refinery at Jubail on the Saudi Gulf coast even harder, with a second debottlenecking of a plant where integrated petrochemicals production is already planned.
This week the Satorp partners awarded US firm KBR a contract to debottleneck the second of two CDUs at its 440,000 b/d plant, with a view to completion in August 2020. KBR has appointed China’s Wison Engineering as subcontractor for the project. (CONTINUED - 360 WORDS)
