Algeria’s key 2019 gas start-up, the 4.5bcm/y Touat project in the country’s far southwest, is set to see commercial production “by the end of June” and “hit plateau production early in the third quarter,” operator Neptune Energy says in its Q1 results on 29 May.
“Touat received first gas during February, with fuel gas provided for the turbines. The project is now in the final commissioning phase and we expect first export gas in June. Production is expected to ramp up quickly, hitting plateau early in the second half of 2019,” Neptune says. (CONTINUED - 349 WORDS)
