Aramco is nearing completion of a 40% expansion of the capacity of its 1,200km East-West pipeline, which carries crude oil from production facilities in the east of the kingdom to refineries and export ports on the Red Sea coast.
Aramco CFO Khalid al-Dabbagh announced in the firm’s first analysts’ webcast on 12 August (MEES, 16 August) that the expansion of the pipeline from 5mn b/d capacity to 7mn b/d is expected to be completed in September this year. (CONTINUED - 139 WORDS)
