A delegation from Korea’s state oil firm KNOC, accompanied by officials from subsidiary Dana Petroleum, visited Egypt oil minister Tarek El Molla this week in Cairo. The delegation was headed by KNOC Chairman Sanju Yoon, to discuss Dana Petroleum’s 12,000 b/d eight assets, of which four are operated, in Egypt’s Gulf of Suez and Western Desert.
Mr Yoon says that the firm is looking to take part in new upcoming bid rounds (MEES, 23 August) as it looks to increase investment and output from new geological structures. (CONTINUED - 121 WORDS)
