With an upgrade to just shy of 23tcf, Israel’s Leviathan now comfortably outranks Egypt’s 21.5tcf Zohr as the Mediterranean’s largest ever gas find. But the lack of full-field development plans means all of the additions accrue to the most speculative portion of the ‘contingent’ category.
