Libya has added half a million barrels to its daily production since a nationwide oil blockade was lifted in mid-September. Current output is thought to be in the range of 600,000 b/d but MEES estimates a further 180,000 b/d is currently in the ramp up phase.
This could bring production up to around 800,000 b/d within weeks. Another 70,000 b/d could come from Eni’s El Feel which is normally reliant on the nearby 300,000 b/d-capacity El Sharara field to power its operations.
