*For August, Egypt’s gas consumption exceeded output by a not insubstantial 390mn cfd, latest Jodi figures indicate. With the country’s LNG exports halted since March (with the exception of one cargo in July) this indicates that gas imports from Israel via the East Mediterranean pipeline are running at this level.
