Abu Dhabi state energy giant Adnoc announced on 11 November the start of production from the Ruwais Diyab Unconventional Gas Concession. The announcement came exactly two years after France’s Total was awarded a 40% stake in the concession (MEES, 16 November 2018). This milestone marks the first production of unconventional gas in the UAE.
Adnoc aims to produce 1bn cfd from the concession by 2030 as part of its drive towards achieving gas self-sufficiency. (CONTINUED - 793 WORDS)
