The countdown to the next Opec+ ministerial meetings, when the producer alliance must decide whether or not to postpone January’s planned production increases, is well underway. The next meetings are less than two weeks away and while sources expect an agreement to be reached on postponing the production increases, there remain a number of hurdles to be overcome which could make for a bumpy ride.
The Opec+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) met this week on 17 November, in its last meeting before the 30 November Opec ministerial get-together. Opec will then be joined by its non-Opec counterparts on 1 December. (CONTINUED - 1247 WORDS)
