Sudan has enlisted the help of the UAE to expand its puny 19MW solar capacity, on 1 November signing an MoU with the state-run Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) for the construction of 500MW of solar capacity in Sudan.
The announcement did not specify which firms would be involved or how many plants would be built or even where, only that private-sector UAE firms would supply, build, install and operate solar PV facilities for 20 years. (CONTINUED - 370 WORDS)
