Kuwait plans to conduct a 3D seismic survey in its western regions in order to expand its resource base.
The emirate had 101.5bn barrels of proven oil reserves at end-2019 according to the BP Statistical Review, which would be good enough for seventh in the world – it was recently overtaken by the UAE (MEES, 27 November). Proven gas reserves of 60tcf are much more modest. (CONTINUED - 276 WORDS)
