Petrochemicals producers from Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait are working to recycle plastics waste in a move to mitigate the environmental footprint of the petchems industry during a period of expanding production.
Saudi petchems giant Sabic is piloting plastics recycling and claiming a world first for a specialty polymer using recycled feedstock. Sabic chief executive Yousef al-Benyan says the company “has an agenda in place to help customers achieve their sustainability goals.” (CONTINUED - 805 WORDS)
