Egypt exported a six-year high 3.45mn tons of LNG in 2019, with 56% headed to Asia and Pakistan, with 0.64mn tons the top destination, according to freshly-released Giignl data (see chart).
Egypt returned to the realm of net gas exporter in October 2018, exporting a total 1.44mn tons that year. But exports have been far from consistent since, with seven-year high exports of 1.02bn cfd in November last year preceded by zero exports two months earlier in September. (CONTINUED - 88 WORDS)
