Saudi renewable energy agency Repdo has shortlisted bidders for Round Two of its National Renewable Energy Program, which comprises six solar PV independent power producer (IPP) projects totaling 1.47GW.
Repdo is also pushing ahead with the 1.20GW Round 3. All in all, the three rounds are slated to contribute 3.37GW of renewables, further boosting efforts to reduce costly liquid fuel generation. All are solar PV apart from 400MV of wind in Round 1. (CONTINUED - 865 WORDS)
