Abu Dhabi state energy giant Adnoc has terminated two EPC contracts worth $1.65bn for the Dalma gas field development. The contracts were awarded in February, with British contractor Petrofac securing one package by itself and a second alongside Malaysia’s Sapura Energy (MEES, 21 February).
The Dalma development has been slated to provide 340mn cfd, and is a key part of the 1.5bn+ cfd Ghasha sour gas concession (Adnoc 55%, Eni 25%, Wintershall Dea 10%, OMV 5%, Lukoil 5%). The project was due to be completed in 2022. (CONTINUED - 280 WORDS)
