Egypt’s refining sector is continuing its record-setting run, with February seeing new throughput and output records as well as Egypt’s first month of net products exports in almost 20 years.
February’s 662,000 b/d runs were just shy of January’s 663,000 b/d record, whilst the month saw record 71,000 b/d jet-kerosene output. Diesel output of 170,000 b/d was only 3,000 b/d down from January’s all-time high and gasoline output of 101,000 b/d just below record levels (see chart 1). (CONTINUED - 515 WORDS)
