Saudi state water utility SWPC has selected a consortium of Saudi firm Acwa Power, the Gulf Investment Corporation and local firm Al-Bawani as preferred bidder for the Jubail 3A independent water producer (IWP) project, which at 600,000 m3/d which will be Saudi Arabia’s biggest reverse osmosis (RO) plant
SWPC says the plant will be built alongside existing units on the Gulf coast southeast of Jubail, to provide potable water to the Riyadh, Qassim and Eastern provinces. The plant will be powered from the national grid (MEES, 9 August 2019). (CONTINUED - 184 WORDS)
