Just three weeks after forming a new government, Iraq’s new Finance Minister Ali Allawi embarked on the government’s first major diplomatic trip overseas – to Saudi Arabia.
Mr Allawi, who also serves as deputy prime minister and acting oil minister, met with senior officials in Riyadh including Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Foreign Minister Prince Faisal. (CONTINUED - 960 WORDS)
