Start up of the Israel’s 2.2tcf Karish field has been pushed back to the second half of 2021. Athens-based operator Energean this week announced that work on the 800mn cfd ‘Energean Power’ FPSO had restarted at Singapore’s Sembcorp yard after a Covid-19-related outage.
But, even “before any further effects of Covid-19,” Energean now estimates finishing the FPSO will take ten more months in Singapore followed by four months for towing to Israel, hook-up and commissioning.
