Brooge Energy has the most ambitious expansion plans of the oil storage players at the UAE’s strategic Fujairah terminal on the Gulf of Oman. Short term expansion plans have been delayed, but it is pushing ahead with sizeable storage and refining projects through to end-2022.
Despite oil markets being roiled by the Covid-19 pandemic, Brooge Energy’s ambitions have not been dented. A 30 June announcement confirmed further delays to this year’s expansion of oil storage facilities at the UAE’s Fujairah terminal, but the firm is adamant that it will “continue to advance our strategy to build out the largest oil storage facility in the Port of Fujairah.” (CONTINUED - 776 WORDS)
