Italy’s Eni has added to the host of offshore Egypt discoveries with ‘Bashrush’ on the shallow water North El Hammad block.
Located 11km north of the Nile Delta in just 22 meters water depth, the Bashrush-2 well “discovered a single 152 meters thick gas column within the Messinian age sandstones of the Abu Madi formation with excellent petrophysical properties,” Eni says. (CONTINUED - 461 WORDS)
