Algeria is an increasingly important client for UK services firm Petrofac, which is currently excluded from fresh projects in previously profitable Iraq and Saudi Arabia amid an ongoing investigation by the UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO).
Petrofac has a combined $1.5bn worth of EPC contracts in Algeria split between two gas developments. Work appears to be advancing steadily despite disruptions associated with the Coronavirus pandemic, according to Petrofac’s first half results released on 11 August. (CONTINUED - 369 WORDS)
