Kuwaiti export revenues have gradually been rebuilding in the aftermath of the first Covid-19 wave. Export revenues collapsed by more than 50% in the second quarter of 2020 to just $6.5bn, down from $13.2bn in Q1.

The latest trade figures released by the government show that exports were back up at $10.3bn for Q3. Still well down on normal levels – 3Q 2019 revenues were $15.6bn – but a considerable improvement on Q2 (see chart). (CONTINUED - 288 WORDS)
