Abu Dhabi state energy firm Adnoc announced on 26 October that it has launched a clean energy partnership with state offtaker Ewec that will “see up to 100% of Adnoc’s grid power supplied by Ewec’s nuclear and solar clean energy sources.” The move is the latest by Adnoc to position itself as a supplier of low-carbon-intensity oil and gas in order to secure a competitive advantage in the energy transition.
