A recent spate of outages at BP’s Raven field (MEES, 3 December) has been the key cause of a slump in not only Egypt’s condensate output for October (MEES, 10 December), but for gas output too.
The country’s overall gas output fell by 300mn cfd from September’s record 7.193bn cfd to 6.895bn cfd for October. And, whilst production figures are not yet available for November, the fact that LNG exports are down suggests that gas output has if anything fallen further. (CONTINUED - 244 WORDS)
