Siemens Energy this week announced that it has secured a contract to supply 21 high-efficiency compressor trains for Saudi Arabia’s planned 2.5bn cfd Tanajib gas processing plant. Once operational, Tanajib will process associated and non-associated gas from the Marjan, Safaniyah and Zuluf oil field expansions.
Siemens Energy received the order from Spain’s Tecnicas Reunidas, which was in 2019 awarded Packages 9 and 11 of the Marjan upstream expansion project. The Spanish firm put the combined value of the two projects at $3bn. (CONTINUED - 195 WORDS)
